wow did we forget about this thing

hello interweb. so laserz has been on pause since aug. but we are back at it with a new drummer  and we our feeling better than ever so be on the look out.

so umm yea maybe we hit the suace a bit to hard last night. we ended up at a place called the stomping grounds which is fitting be cuase i got stomped in the face playing twister there. anyway, we are just wraping up recording our first album with preston from kill red rocket records cant say enough about how badass he is. also, we are not only releasing it on killredrocet but we are doing a release with sink hole texas which is out of bryan, college station. where we will be playing may 21 at bcs loud fest cant wait.

so south by has come and gone. we ended up playing 4 shows in 48 hours.  the experience has left me as drained as it has left me ready for more.  even though i know the kaos gets old quick sometimes i wish austin was the sxsw mad house of a town all the time. the four shows we did play were awsome each was better than the one before and the high light of the week had to be the show of rainy st. which was in a garage and is in my ranking of best laserz show ever.  the 311 show also was a great time have to say the herion and invisable target both killed.  over all it was a good time.

ah shit and shit

so fitz show was fuckin rad. thaks to everyone that came out. sorry fresh millions had to cancel. its a shame.  pussy.  anyway, there should be footage of that show poppng up on you tube some time. it looks awsome thangs to ang.  john edited it and added some cool extras but we our having problems getting it up on the web. so we are gearing up for sxsw which i am awaiting like a 6 year old waiting for christmas. so far we play club 311 on wensday at 10, jamies spanish village at 2 on thursday. a kill red rockets showcase on friday, and if i didnt fuck it up by losing my phone we play an awsome house party sat. its gonna be a busy week.  i've already started makin cd's and shirts that we will be dispensing like pez hopefully. i also got an email from our friends i beaumont today asking us back. so look out east texas laserz will melt your baby faces. and speaking of baby faces we might play our first baby shower in the end of march. hopefully no real babies will be harmed in the face melting. ha anyway peace bitches

So... mis amogos.  If you are in Houston we will be there tomorrow to play at Fitzgerald's.  This is rad because Billy, Steve , and I grew up there.  (Todd grew up in College Station).  I have seen many a great shows play at Fitzgerald's growing up which makes this show extra special.  Steve is driving his new/old van down there called Buffalo Bob (It puts the lotion on the body).  Fresh Millions will be joining us and playing at 9:00 PM.  The doors open at 8:00,  Come and get shack-wackled beforehand so you can shake your booty, fist pump, breakdance, mosh, bob with beer gripped closely on chest, nod, screech and yell, heckle, or whatever the hell else you do at shows...   

Track of the day

Holy shit!  Our song "Rollers" just got Track of the Day on February 12, on garageband.com  I just uploaded it the day before.  I recent;y have been going and reviewing music on garageband.com.  It is a great way to hear new music.   Anyway, We have been really busy.  we have a 5 track demo cd if anyone wants just ask and we'll be happy to give it to you.  We play at Club Encore  That place shouldn't be call Encore but more something like, well I don't know, but more strange sounding, because the lights are crazy in there and makes you feel like you are tripping out and the art is very cool and original.  The sound is great too!  The system was so bumping that my record needle had a hard time staying in the grooves during our songs. 
We then played a house party at this girl Diamond's house over off S. Lamar.  The place was packed and everyone got shack-wackled and had fun.  Our set was kind of a disaster but that's what's fun about a house party; we can heckle each other through the night.  We had fun with it and suited up in the haz-mat suits and wnt to town with the fog and lights an people were partying and having fun!

so we made the first batch of laserz' shirtz tonight. they came out great. there are  two designs. an owl and the man. check them out at the next laserz show. which will be at club encore thursday night at 611 red river. we are playing with our friends bloody knives and real book fake book. it should be a great show.
